Argentina is a country in South America, between the Andes Mountains and the Atlantic Ocean, with a population of approximately 39,538,000 people. Argentina is bordered by Paraguay, Bolivia, Brazil, Uruguay, and Chile. It also claims the British overseas territories of the Falkland Islands, South Georgia, and the South Sandwich Islands. It is the second largest country (by area) of South America and the eighth largest country in the world. Argentina hosts the largest Jewish population in Latin America, even though the country is mainly Christian. Argentina It also has one of the largest mosques in Latin America. Argentina has 8 sites listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites, eight national parks, the Atlantic Coast, Mount Aconcagua (the highest peak outside the Himalayas), and The Train to the Clouds.
