Brussels, Belgium is the capital city, is located in the center of the country, and has a population of approximately 1,000,000 people. Brussels population in the north speaks Dutch, and in the south, speaks French. The highest building in the city is the South Tower. Brussels has several colleges and universities, and is the major link to the United Kingdom though its trains station. Brussels is known as The Capital of Europe and has over 80 museums, as well as other wonderful attractions, a booming nightlife, and a wealth of restaurants. The Grand Place was built in the 13th century and hosts concerts, festivals and the Ommegang Pagent, and annual Medieval celebrating Emperor Charles V in the 16th century.
