Vejle, Denmark is the site of both the Vejle municipality and Vejle County, located on the Jutland peninsula. Vejle is located at the head of the fjord, and is well known for the hills that rise up around the town. Danish composer Jacob Gade, and writers Ulrik Gras and Harald Kidde have all called Vejle home. Museums, art galleries, and shops are a highlight of a tourist's experience. Of interest, Vijke has the world's largest chewing gum factory. The Vejleford Bridge was build to lead traffic out of town. Building started in 1975 and opened on 1980. The bridge now has more traffic than any other bridge in Denmark.
