Belfast, Ireland, is a city in the United Kingdom. It is the largest city in Northern Ireland, and is the capital; it is the second largest city on the entire island of Ireland. Belfast has a population of approximately 277,000 people. Belfast City Airport is one of two in the city; the other is the Belfast International Airport. The University of Ulster, located in Belfast, teaches fine art and design. Belfast has a lot of rain; for example, 200 days per year. The average annual rainfall is 850mm. The average snowfall lasts two to three years per year. Attractions include several banks, libraries, museums, architecture, shipyards, and more. Victorian buildings display sculptures. There is also a botanical garden and the Supreme Court. Belfast is the home to the tallest building (not structure) in Ireland.
