Bolton, England is a town with a population of approximately 140,000 people. Tourism accounts for a great deal of the economy with attractions such as the home of inventor Samuel Crompton, and several parks and museums. It is also the dormitory town to Manchester. Bolton also offers tourists Octagon Theater; and Albert Hall is at least 100 years old. According to a survey, Boltonions are supposedly the friendliest people in Britain. However, it is the 28th most deprived boroughs, with a third of the population among the most deprived in England. Bolton has over 1,000 voluntary and community groups in the area.
