Bournemouth, England is a seaside resort with a population of approximately 164,000 people, and is a popular tourist destination because of the five miles of beach, the various hotels and accommodations, the entertainment, the climate, and its easy accessibly to other areas. Just behind the beaches, there are stores; even the footpaths lead from the sea to the central gardens. The streets are full of people walking, and shops run the gamut of most other artsy locations around the globe. Boutiques, jewelers, bars, clubs, cafes, etc. Years ago, a large sanatorium overlooked the central gardens and treated patients with chest diseases. It is now a complex of retirement homes.
