Liverpool, England is a city and a borough with a population of approximately 445,000 people. Liverpool is one of England's core cities, and is the 5th most populated. Liverpool is best known as the birthplace of The Beatles. Residents are referred to as Liverpudlians, and have a distinct accent and dialect. The Liverpool history project has been created to preserve and honor the importance of this area. Any tourist heading to Liverpool, whether a music fan or not, will obviously be drawn to at least look at the home of the Beatles; other attractions to see include two cathedrals, and few stately home neighborhoods.
