Bjorneborg (or Pori), Finland is the 10th largest city in the country, with a population of approximately 76,1000 people. The entire population of the city speaks Finnish. A neo-Gothic mausoleum was built in 1903 for a wealthy businessman who lost his daughter at age 11. The frescoes that were originally in the mausoleum have long been destroyed. They were restored by the artist's son, using his father's sketches. Most famous attractions include sandy beaches and the annual Pori Jass international jazz festival. For trivia fans, the asteroid 1499 Pori was named after the city by the Finnish discoverer, Yrjo Vaisala.
