Car hire Munich

Münich is the largest city and capital of the German Federal State of Bavaria. Münich is Germany's third largest city with a population of approximately 1,500,000 people, and one of the wealthiest in Europe. Münich has a Marienplatz (marketplace), with the old and the new Town Hall. There are several churches, one of which is the Peterskirche, close to marketplace; it is the oldest church built during the Romanesque period. There are at least six castles or mansions of different ages, and four royal avenues of 19th century official buildings. Not to be forgotten are dozens of museums, theaters, parks, and palaces. Other famous attractions include newer skyscrapers and modern buildings. The Olympic Park and stadium was built for the 1972 Summer Olympics. The Hirschgarten, a traditional park near Nymphenburg, houses the largest traditional beer garden in Münich. The Englischer Garten is a public park that contains a nudist area, jogging tracks and bridle-paths. The oldest park of the city is the Hofgarten which was established in the 16th century.
