Bodo is a small city and municipality in the county of Nordland, Norway with an approximate population of 500 people. Bodo has beautiful scenery; outer locations have even more. Attractions include the National Aviation Museum and the Salten Museum. Bodo hosts the cultural festival called Nordland Musikkfestuke every summer, and the Bodo Hardcore Festival each winter. The Hardcore festival is free and completely dependent on volunteers. The cathedral in town, built in 1956, represents post-war architecture; the church just outside the city dates back to the 13th century, representing the Medieval stone church.
