Torres Novas is a municipality in Portugal with a population of approximately 37,100 people. The municipality is composed of 17 parishes, and is located in the District of Santarem. Renova-Fabrica de Papel do Almonda, SA is based in the municipality. In addition, textiles, leather and liquor are also manufactured. Among the tourist attractions are the ruins of the Roman Villa Cardillo, an art gallery, museum, the Belvedere castle, the Gothic Chapel of Nossa Senhora do Vale, and other churches and cathedrals.
