Bodrum is a Turkish port on the Bodrum Peninsula, in Muğla Province, with a population of approximately 35,000 people. Several thousand tourists visit Bodrum each year, as it is a common destination for yachting and night life. Attractions of interest include the Bodrum Castle and the Museum of Underwater Archaeology within it, Halicarnassus, an ancient amphitheater and a mausoleum. Bodrum has an international and nataive culture and offers something for every tourist, from swimming and sunbathing to sailing, dancing, and shopping.
