Kansas City, Missouri has a population of approximately 442,000 people. Known as The Heart of the Nation, Kansas City is the largest city in Missouri. It sits directly opposite from Kansas City, Kansas across the boundary between Missouri and Kansas. While noting major attractions, of particular note is the number of fountains--Kansas City ranks second in the world. There are several museums, an historic district, the headquarters of Hallmark Cards, etc. There is a toy and miniature museum and Walt Disney's original cartoon studio. Kansas City also offers a Renaissance Fair, and several memorials. Sports teams in Kansas City include the Royals (baseball), the Chiefs (football), the Wizards (soccer), and the collegiate Kangaroos (various sports). What's more, the Kansas City Monarch's survived the entire 35-year span of black baseball. While not exactly within the Bible Belt, four of Missouri's 13 colleges and universities are theological institutes.
